This is the "solo" version of "We're All In This Together." Written in 2010, right at the end of the "By the Numbers" sessions, this was originally recorded with all of the Usual Suspects sharing the lead vocals. This version still has Jon Mark, Jody, Dan, Ben, Chris & Andy doing vocals, but now they're doing the harmonies (But NOT the "shoo-beee-doo-wops"), while Dallas sings all the leads.
This is the Doctor's "Peace, Love & Happiness" anthem!
(Chorus):
We’re all in this together
We got a one-way ticket on the third rock from the sun
So since we’re all in this for better, .. or whatever ..
How ‘bout we just get over it -
And have some fun!
(I):
We don’t have to agree,
But we don’t have to be enemies!
We don’t have to hang out,
But we don’t have to quarrel and shout!
(Chorus):
(II):
We don’t have to cuddle and coo,
But we don’t have to hullabaloo!
We don’t have to love-at-first-sight,
But we don’t have to fight!
(Chorus):
(Bridge):
What’s so funny ‘bout shinin’ a light?
And where did we go so wrong?
What’s so hard about getting’ it right?
.. Lookin’ out for each other – and getting’ along?
(Chorus B):
We’re all in this together
We got a one-way ticket on the third rock from the sun
So since we’re all in this for better, .. or whatever ..
How ‘bout we just get over it -
And get along!
(III):
We don’t have to march arm-in-arm,
But we don’t have to sound the alarm.
We don’t have to see eye-to-eye,
But we don’t have to condemn and deny!
(Chorus):
(Tag):
How ‘bout we just get over it -
And have some fun!
How ‘bout we just get over it -
And get along!
